Education Inspires: I'm Going To College! program is designed to intrinsically motivate middle school students to make the most of their high school experience from the first day of 9th grade.

Most high school students don't learn the specific college admission requirements until 11th grade, when it is too late to go back to 9th and 10th grade and improve achievement.

When middle school students learn about colleges, they can truly explore driven by curiosity and develop meaningful connections to the college process. The practice of researching the colleges they like the most, categorizing them, and relating that information to a plan for high school provides a tactical application in which students can see how their effort and achievement directly impact their future goals.

The program intentionally works with students to discover what they are passionate about and how they can demonstrate their passion throughout various extra curricular activities, volunteer & work experience. Colleges are looking for focused and motivated students. These experiences build the foundation of students' college applications and will be especially helpful to write college admissions essays.

Please consider making a contribution to help me fund the initial student workbooks to serve 300-400 middle school students in the 2016-2017 school year. The opportunity to pilot this program came up quickly and I didn't have the time to properly fund the project in time to start the pilot in September.

If 100 people give $25 each, I'll reach my goal! Click here to contribute to my online fundraiser.
